So That Is How You Do It
If you've roamed my links you'll know, I follow several creative thinking/organisation sites. One of them is unpredictably named PigPog.
In the below link to the author's blog, he goes on to describe all the qualities in his long term partner and as to why they make such a fantastic team. It really is quite lovely.
He chooses to conclude his article with, I would guess, quite an uncommon ending. If you have a moment please take a look:
PigPog: Our Tenth Anniversary
In closing: The reaction caused is not the exact words I would like to hear in such circumstances - but are obviously quite sincere.

Hi Adrian
Yes, I've contemplated editing my response to that article, but I think there's a certain poignancy to my words.
As you might guess from my reaction, it was a total surprise to me. While I was reading it I looked across at him and thought "What the @£$%ing hell is he doing on the floor? Oh..."
".... ....!"
Thanks for the link. If anyone's interested there are weekly updates in my blog.
Cheers,
Sam

I'm interested - will be reading the story now. Almost as startling as B's drunken proposal to me under the 'no dogs fouling' sign on new years eve :).
