My Eyes Are Open

A creative offering for the weekly Landscape Monday is captured by My Eyes Are Open, elegantly named Morning Light, Somewhere Over France:

For afters, I insist you soak up the fantastically vivid Le Camembert Magique Photolog:

It's the final furlong before Christmas, and with that my departure for the United States, best enjoy me whilst I'm around.

Quote: "It's the final furlong before Christmas, and with that my departure for the United States, best enjoy me whilst I'm around."

You know I am possibly thinking of revolting against this!

10 survival tips:
1) Never stand up and sing the American National anthem, but sit quietly drinking a cup of tea.
2) Talk to people who "love your acent" in a 'heavy' cockney/liverpudlian/scottish/etc. acent.
3) Have at least a years backup supply of Colmans Mustard, HP sauce, Earl Grey and PG Tips. Note* With a day-to-day supply carried in a bag, for emergencies. Preferably a union jack bag!
4) A daily 'dose' of Only Fools and Horses.
5) A China tea set, with tray, to 'hang out with all the homies' on the street corners.
6) Bullet proof vest.
7) A full 'bachelours' suit with cravat, top hat, and cane (e.g. the man on the cover of Earl Grey).
8) A full rendition of Mary Poppins, which can be acted out on request by any American.
9) A hand-to-hand pocket sized edition of any Shakespearian play, to be quoted, at random, to confuse the audience and to be used as an escape mechanism.
10) An emergency telephone (preferably red and flashing, like Batmans) which links directly to England!

All points raised have been duly noted, thank you (old chap).
